I liked Basil though I thought that the whole climax of his story towards the end was poorly executed. A few scenes is more than enough for me unless I’m reading erotica. I usually wouldn’t complain about this but it just seemed like overkill. Additionally, I think there was a little too much sex. I’ve never cared much for the twins and while I liked Cassandra better than Pandora they both were a little to silly for me. I loved Tom’s character, he was irreverent dead pan funny and it was great getting to know him better. I would have given this book 4 stars but the last quarter or so of the book wasn’t as good as the first three quarters. i enjoyed the book though it had its shortcomings.
